1. CREATE A POSTER
The easiest way to participate in this project is by creating a poster using our template.
We have two templates available – choose the one that best suits your preference.

Poster “Nearest Bomb Shelter”



  1. Download the template.
  2. Change the name of the city. (A)
  3. Add a screenshot of the map with the nearest bomb shelter marked on it. (B)
  4. (Optional) For advanced users, include a QR code linking to the online map. You can create one using the instructions below in the map section. (C)
  5. Export the map as a PDF, print it, and spread it.
  6. Take photos, share them in social media, and tag us! (@bickerstaff.734 on Instagram, @bickerstaff_734 on Twitter and @bickerstaff284 Facebook). Use the hashtag #nearestbombshelter.






Poster “Permanently closed (?)”

  1. Find a bomb shelter nearby that is marked as "Permanently closed" on Google Maps. Save photo of it. 
  2. Download the template.
  3. Insert a photo of the permanently closed shelter you’ve saved. (A)
  4. Change the shelter's name to match the one on Google Maps. (B)
  5. Change the address. (C)
  6. (Optional for advanced participation) Add a QR code linking to the online map. You can create one using the instructions provided below in the map section. (D)
  7. Export the map as a PDF, print it, and spread it.
